Sanxenxo is the perfect setting for any marine activity. Nautical activities can be practised all year round, except in extreme storms, because the estuaries always offer the possibility of sailing inland to be more protected.
The annual calendar of regattas and nautical activities is complemented by the celebration of major international events, such as the Volvo Ocean Race (2005) and the Six Metre European (2021) and World (2022) Championships.
 
2 MARINAS
Sanxenxo has 653 moorings between the marinas of Sanxenxo and Portonovo. Both facilities have been awarded the blue flag and the Q for quality and have all the services required by the crews of the boats.
